the Creative Haven
Ms. Amy's Summer Program 2013
My Program is a version of a traditional "Mothers' Morning Out," Ms. Amy's Creative Haven is an opportunity for moms to attended to errands of personal appointments while their children engage in imaginative learning and creative play opportunities in a natural and nurturing environment. Over the coarse of the morning, children will be exploring nature and experience, music & movement, science, and arts & crafts activities. We have so much fun in store for your little ones this summer and we cannot wait to play with them {and sneak in a little learning too, sshhhh}...
The program will be 1 day per week from 8:00am- 12:00pm, for children ages 4-7 years. The fee will be $45 per week. Reservations are on a first come, first serve basis and you must pay at the time the reservation is made to reserve your spot. All forms must be signed and turned in prior to arrival. Please check each day that your child will be attending and submit with payment.
On the days that your child will be attending please send them with a bag/backpack with a complete change of clothes{in case we get to messy}, and snacks. Make sure that your child's belongings are all clearly labeled. Also please apply sunscreen and bug spray before arrival or send them in their bag.

We started off our year getting to know all about ourselves, our families and our new friends. It is a great way to start off the new school year! I ABSOLUTELY love these "All About Me" glyphs! I had the bodies cut out and in various skin shades they got to choose which ones they thought looked like there skin and then began to put them together.

New Blogger
My friends have been encouraging me to start a blog to share all my ideas with everyone. I've been in the teaching field for over 17 years working with children from preschool to 5th grade for 17 years! I have been teaching Pre-K for the last 10 years and I absolutely love it! So I wanted to share my ideas with everyone like all these other fabulous teachers that I have gotten so many great ideas from. I'm excited and cant wait to start sharing.
